HOT TUB/SAUNA/SWIMMING POOL
**Please note that you will only be able to use these facilities once we have received a signed disclaimer**
We do ask if you could take a shower in the wet room before entering the hot tub, swimming pool and sauna. We also ask that you do not take glass, cups or breakable crockery in the hot tub. There are plenty of plastic cups in the utility room to use.
Please only use your own towels or the grey towels provided for outside use. There are hooks on the side of the porch roof for you to hang towels when in the hot tub.
The Sauna and hot tub are for your use only, they are very simple to use.
The Sauna
The sauna is suitable for 4 adults at one time.
To turn on the sauna, approximately 20 mins before you wish to use it, turn the dial under the stove to halfway, and simply wait for it to heat up. The light switch is just inside the door on your left-hand side down low. We normally leave the temperature gauge on three quarters hot as it is sufficient for most people’s use. You are welcome to use the oils and water to add to the coals to heat it up during use. Please use responsibly and ensure that you only use a few drops of oil in each pale of water. Do not touch any of the element or the coals with your hands or any other part of your body- it will burn you! You will find some hooks above the door in the sauna for your towels and gowns.
The Hot Tub
To use the hot tub- carefully fold back the cover all of the way, press the jets button, chose your optimum setting for the jets, and then the lights and sound system should you wish to. You will find hooks for your robes on the fascia of the lean too cover for your convenience. Please take care of the tub and yourselves by following the basic rules: -
The Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is booked only by prior arrangement as it is also used by a local swimming school- CG Swim School. We have a strict timetable which we ask you to adhere to. You will also be asked to sign a disclaimer for use of the swimming pool as there are no lifeguards on site.
