Set over two floors, Quarterway House was renovated fully at the end of 2019, not only with decoration but with all new furniture and accessories. The Garden has been lovingly maintained along with the rest of the land.

The house has a large living room with an open fire and enough seating for 10+. The kitchen boasts a range cooker, wine fridge and all the possible utensils you need to make a great meal. The table can seat up to 12 people as it is extendable from 4 to 12 people. An American style fridge with ice maker is in the utility room along with a washing machine. The utility room leads to the wet-room and back door straight where you will find the hot tub and sauna.

Adjoining the kitchen is the snug which has a TV, sofa bed and a double doors opening onto the patio area. This room can be made private if used as another sleeping space. We also provide a printer and various stationary elements if you need to catch up with some work during your stay.

Upstairs we have three bedrooms. The master bedroom with ensuite has a very comfortable kingsize bed and a large wardrobe, TV and the large ensuite has a double shower, dressing table with hairdryer and GHD Straighteners.

The two other bedrooms have single beds, both bedrooms can be made up into double bedrooms if required.

The landing has a seated area where you can sit back and have a coffee and read a book if you want some quiet time although there is plenty of other spaces to find through out the property and land for that. There is also a family bathroom with a bath.

Naturally, all linens are provided for the period of your stay. Should you need extra towels or pillows please advise us. Our bed linens are crisp and white for your comfort. Each guest will have 1 bath towel and 1 small towel.

If you are staying longer than one week, we will provide you with a set of clean sheets and towels at the start of the second week. We also provide towels for the hot tub, sauna and swimming pool and you will find shampoo, conditioner, soap and cotton buds for your use.

For added comfort, you will not have to worry about cleaning products, washing up liquid or washing powder as these things can be frustrating to buy or remember when you may only be staying with us for a few nights. We also provide tea and coffee, milk, sugar and various condiments. As well as your welcome hamper.

 
 

Not only do you have the house and land, Quarterway House also offers other facilities for you to relax, rest and re-charge.

 

 

Sauna

There is a beautiful barrel sauna at Quarterway House. Directly outside the back door, so you don’t have to go far to relax in the heat of the sauna and reduce all your aches and pains.

Hot Tub

Next to the Sauna we have a hot tub which can sit 6 people and colour changing bulbs suit your mood. You can also plug in your phone to play music to enhance your mood.

Swimming pool

There is a large inside swimming pool heated at a lovely 32 degrees. The sides of the building are retractable so on those hot days you can really feel like you’re swimming in the Med.

GYM

By the lake we have a well equipped weights gym, with space to workout with a sound system. There is also a boxing bag for your work up a sweat before you return to relaxing

 

Going The Extra Mile

When you arrive at the house you will be presented with an ‘Arrival Hamper’ this will include fresh bread, butter and jam. Milk, wine and beer and fresh eggs (from our very own chickens that live on site!) We would also be very happy to arrange food deliveries from the supermarket or local farm shops. We can also stock and provide with local delicacies from local gin and wine or even the world famous Chelsea buns from Fitzbillies, Cambridge.

We are lucky to be on two acres of land and surrounded by some of the most beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside right on our doorstep. Set back from the road, with a large driveway and walled property you really are hidden away from the hustle and bustle of life.

We have a large patio area with plenty of seating and decking for you to enjoy the outside and a covered area for those less sunny days. As you walk out the back door you have the stunning wooden sauna and hot tub for you to use throughout the whole of your stay. We have an outdoor kitchen which will be ready for the summer of 2020 which has a latch downside for a bar area. You have have BBQ’s within the beautifully maintained garden and land. Beyond the fencing on the way to the gym you walk through an apple orchard with even more seating, down to the lake and grass mound over looking the house and the fields. All of this is lit up beautifully at night.
